About this event
If you help manage the finances or health of the person you care for, you may want to learn more about lasting power of attorneys (LPAs) and deputyship orders.
During this session, you will hear from our Public Guardian and Chief Executive, Ruth Duffin. She will be joined by Andy Tovey, Head of Modernising Lasting Power of Attorney (MLPA) Business Readiness. Together, they'll explain:
- how to make an LPA or apply for a deputyship order
- how much it costs
- how to act as an attorney or deputy.
They will also be busting some common myths, tackling the trickier terminology, and explaining how you can apply for help with OPG fees.
