The BBP is working towards a whole system approach for children with SEND and complex needs by collectively taking responsibility, acting early and co-producing support plans alongside children, young people and families to create tailored plans that work for them.
Objectives
Four integrated care priorities have been identified for children and young people in the BBP programme. They are:
- Giving young children a positive start in life
- Supporting children and young people to achieve good mental health and resilience
- Challenging disparities in health outcomes for children.
- Enabling children with SEND and/or complex care needs to achieve their potential.
