The WLT Older Peoples Mental Health Service is pleased to invite colleagues to the third annual Taking Positive Action in Dementia Care online conference on Wednesday, 21st May 2025, between 10 am and 12.30 pm.
This year's conference will provide a valuable forum for colleagues and experts to engage with critical aspects of dementia care.
The agenda includes the following key topics:
Mindfulness and Dementia: An exploration of practical applications of mindfulness in dementia care settings.
- The Evolution of the Hammersmith and Fulham Good Life with Dementia Programme: Led by a passionate community champion and recognised by the Hammersmith and Fulham Civic Award.
- Personal Perspectives: Direct accounts from patients and carers, offering an understanding of their journeys.
Jo Manley, Transition Director for Local Services, West London NHS Trust, will be chairing the conference and delivering the keynote speech. Her extensive experience and leadership will provide valuable insight into the changing landscape of Dementia care.
All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the conference. Furthermore, all registered individuals will be provided with a copy of the event recording, regardless of their ability to attend live on the day. This ensures that everyone who registers can benefit from the valuable information shared.
This conference represents an important opportunity for professional development, knowledge acquisition, and networking with peers. We encourage you to participate and to share this invitation with other members of your teams who would find this event beneficial.
