Hounslow Council has launched a new digital Swap to Stop offer, designed to help smokers across the borough make the switch away from cigarettes. Adult smokers aged 18+ who live in Hounslow can apply for the scheme via the Council website: https://www.hounslow.gov.uk/health-wellbeing/swap-stop.
Once registered, participants will receive a voucher by email, which can be redeemed on the Totally Wicked website. The fully automated 6-week programme includes a free vape starter kit, two follow-up top-up vouchers, and a 4-week survey check-in.
What is Swap to Stop?
The programme is aimed at adult smokers (18+) who live in Hounslow. It is not open to non-smokers or those under 18.
How it works
- Sign up via the council website and receive a voucher code by email.
- Redeem the code on Totally Wicked’s website to claim a free vape starter kit (includes device and e-liquids for initial use).
- The kit is delivered by post.
- 10 days after redeeming the first voucher code, a second voucher code is emailed for another 2-week top-up.
- At around week 4, the participant receives an email with a short progress survey. After completing the survey, they receive their final voucher for the last 2-week supply.
For individuals who want more structured help, vapes and other stop-smoking aids can be accessed via Healthy Hounslow, including one-to-one support from a stop-smoking advisor. If you are unsure which pathway is most appropriate, please refer to the attached decision map.
