  • Provide a space for regular social interactions through walking and wheeling
  • Engage in health conversations with local residents in an informal setting.

All walks are suitable for people who are looking to increase their activity levels, and are between 30 – 60 minutes, they may include some moderate slopes, steps, and uneven surfaces.

Jaz Gill, Health Outreach Team, Programme Manager, said:

“The team has been engaging with communities across Hounslow and making a real difference in people’s lives by helping residents navigate the health system. Our team now wants to take the next step and further help reduce residents' falls risks."

Stay Steady and Active has been designed by the BBP to help increase residents' activity levels, test balance abilities, and reduce the risks of falls. The programme offers a wide range of exercise classes all designed for the over 60’s.
