As Part of Hounslow’s Vision 2050 work to develop the skills and capabilities to imagine alternative futures and work together in different ways to meet the challenges of the future. They are partnering with the Emerging Futures Team at Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Huddlecraft and Canopy to run a dynamic peer-to-peer six-month learning group in the Borough.
This will be an exploration of how colleagues can imagine and bring to life a hopeful future in Hounslow, together. They are particularly interested in drawing out and exploring themes related to care, ageing, life transitions, and time.
The peer-learning group has space for 12 people. Normally, this costs between £1500 and £2000, but it's free for council and NHS colleagues and those people working in organisations in Hounslow.
- Interested people can find out more and apply here via this invitation. There is also an information session on Wednesday, 13 August.
Please also share this opportunity with colleagues and with your networks.
This group or Huddle (as they will be calling it) will be building and growing capacities and skills in collective imagination, a practice that is being increasingly used across local authorities to unlock capacity for the big challenges we’re trying to tackle.
They estimate that the Huddle will require an average of 2–3 hours of your time per week for the 6-month Huddle duration. This will be slightly more on the weeks when there is a Kick Off, Power Up session and around the Showcase. Click here for more details.
