Help Shape the Future of the Hounslow Carers Service

Hounslow Council wants to hear from people who have been supported by the Hounslow Carers Service.

They would really appreciate a few minutes of your time to complete their feedback form, helping them to know what you liked and what they could do to improve. All responses are entirely anonymous.

The Hounslow Carers Service is managed by London Borough of Hounslow Adult Social Care and provides information, advice and practical support. Three dedicated Carers Advisers are available to assist you with:

  • one-to-one information and advice
  • carers assessment
  • Carers Emergency Cards
  • the Short Breaks Service, Carers Direct Payments and other respite options
  • identifying and applying for missed benefits
  • appointeeship, Lasting Power of Attorney, and Deputyship
  • referrals to other services
  • information events at venues across the borough
  • ‘carer friendly’ social activities including regular Carer Cafes

Find out more about the service here or contact them at carers@hounslow.gov.uk

The Carers Information Sheet

The Carers Info Sheet has 12 pages of useful contact details for organisations and services offering information, advice and support. Most of the services listed are free and do not need a professional referral. The latest issue can be downloaded and printed here.

Alternatively, you can pick up a printed copy from the ASC Pop-up Information Shop or from a Carers Service event.
