The 0-4 Winter Prevention campaign is now live for professionals and Hounslow residents. The campaign aims to highlight:
Hounslow Healthier Together is a trusted NHS website providing clear, easy-to-follow advice on common childhood illnesses. It helps parents and carers decide when to care for their child at home and when to seek medical help.

2. More Same-Day GP Appointments for Under-5s
Parents and carers in Hounslow now have access to an additional 750 GP appointments every month for children aged 0–4 years.
- Evening appointments are available Monday to Friday across Hounslow, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm (times vary)
- Designed to make it easier for busy families to see a GP quickly when a child is unwell with symptoms that cannot be treated at home
- Parents are encouraged to first CHECK their child’s symptoms on Healthier Together before deciding where best to seek care
- If an appointment is required, parents are required to contact their GP Practice to book.
The overarching theme of the campaign is for parents to first CHECK Healthier Together when concerned with common childhood illnesses and follow the correct traffic light signposting.
