Link Workers are practitioners that provide non-medical support to residents with personal, social, emotional, financial and practical issues. Link Workers work with people to understand their goals and needs, and connect them with community-based services and activities that improve their health and wellbeing.
The Link Workers Workshop is held every 6 months to bring together frontline staff across organisations under the Borough Based Partnership (BBP) – Hounslow Council, West London Trust, Primary Care Networks – to learn about new services, explore collaboration opportunities, and celebrate successes!
In the past, attendees included Social Prescribers, Community Solutions Officers, Mental Health Link Workers, Dementia Link Workers, Older People Link Workers, and Community Health and Wellbeing Workers.
The next workshop is going to be hosted at the Feltham Assembly Hall on Tuesday 12th November 9:30am -12:00 noon. In the workshop you will hear about:
- Stay Steady and Active - A new falls Prevention campaign and new community offer
- Mental Health Preventative Offers
- ARC Hounslow
- Core20+5
- Integrated Neighbourhood Teams
- Winter Readiness
And there’ll be opportunities for you to meet other teams and share your experiences and ideas.
If you are a Link Worker working in Hounslow, please join us for a morning filled with knowledge and collaboration!
